WOW we are on video– check out our KM Walk to School video on the KM site: www.kmcharityteam.co.uk and scroll down to our video entitled “ Pupils are glad to be Green”. You can also see this video on our website on the home page and on our Twitter Feed. Well done everyone. I am so proud of how well we all came across with such great participation from the children, the parents walking smiling and happy, and then Mrs Stanczyk and Miss Ryan being interviewed and filmed as well. This is really brilliant and of course puts us on the map!!!
There are some more interesting pages recently added onto the website such as Writers of the Week with photos under the “curriculum” tab, our Science blog and our Forest School page– have a look at all the wonderful things we do here at St Michael’s.
Thank you to the great number of parents who attended our open mornings in Early Years and Y5 this week– it was great to see so many supportive parents working with their children.
This was quite a momentous week– we had Safer Internet Day on Tuesday when the children learned again about being safe whilst on line– please do talk to your child about their on line activities especially if they are communicating with other users, we have been able to bring this to some individual parents’ attention thanks to the work we have covered this week! It’s the centenary of Women being given the Vote in this country and I know that this is or will be explored further in class. We have also had a couple of days with snow flurries. Please do assume that if you haven’t heard anything to the contrary the school is open, we will only close in extreme circumstances with a message posted via Parentpay e-mail and text and a note on the home page of the website.
What a busy week!! Enjoy the break and we will see you all again on Monday 19th February.
