10th July 2020 – Update 16

Dear Parents and carers,

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Today you will have received your child’s report and the accompanying letter that explains the rationale behind it. The reports have been sent via e mail and if this is successful we may consider sending reports in this way again. If you would like to discuss your child’s report please do just contact the school to book a call with your child’s teacher. As you know we can not have visitors on the premises at the moment or any face to face meetings but a call is absolutely fine..

Monday will be our Virtual Sports day. The children who are in school should come to school in their PE kit/sporty home clothes and not their uniform. The children in the critical workers group and vulnerable children should also come to school in their sporty clothes. The children will do some simple activities in the field within their bubbles at various times in the day. As we are not allowed social gatherings we can’t have parents and carers watching the sports day as they would normally do but we will have some photos that we will post on our website. The children at home can also take part- the videos and instructions are on each class jotter page on our learning platform. We would like the children at home do the activities and then send in their results and photos to their class teacher. Remember we are competing in our houses so points earned will go towards our houses. I will announce the winning house in next week’s update…
