Collective Worship

We believe that Christian worship in a Catholic school is concerned with giving glory, honour, praise and thanks to God. It is our loving response, in word and action to God’s invitation to enter into relationship, made possible through the work of Jesus Christ and the witness of the Holy Spirit.

Whole School

In this time of Lent, the children have been preparing for Easter in many ways, please have a look at our Easter Garden.

Foundation Stage

St. Jude’s Class had their class assembly, which they performed to parents. They spoke about how they had learnt about God’s beautiful world and how we should take care and pride in looking after it- from plants, to creatures and animals, ourselves and each other.

Handa's Surprise

Reception celebrated the story of ‘Handa’s Surprise’ and gave thanks to God for the amazing gifts granted to us.

Year 1

Year 1's Assembly About Jigsaw

We are all pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and we all fit together, every piece of a puzzle is different, just like us. In our jigsaw lessons we have been celebrating our differences. If we were all the same, the world would be a boring place. God made each us to be special.

Year 5

Year 5 Class Assembly

It was St. Augustine’s class assembly all about Pentecost. Parents and carers were invited to see their children tell the story of Pentecost and to share the meaning behind it. The pupils had the chance to show off in their home languages, it was lovely to hear this. The children also talked about being a good friend. The children sang songs, showed their artwork, read a poem and showed off their sewing skills as well. It was a beautiful assembly – well done to all the pupils in St. Augustine’s.
